PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply tank and an electrolyzer with the same, supplying water to generate hypochlorous acid of sufficient concentration. SOLUTION: The water supply tank 1 is detachably provided on an air cleaner 10 as the electrolyzer for generating electrolytic water by electrochemically treating the supplied water, and is equipped with: a water supply port 2 formed on the lowermost part in the state of being mounted on the air cleaner 10; and a sustained release material 40 for releasing chloride ions in an amount proportional to contact time with water. The sustained release material 40 is arranged in the position where it comes into contact with the water at least while water is being injected into the inside from the water supply port 2, and in the position where it does not come into contact with the injected water when it is mounted on the air cleaner 10.
