PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress destruction of a piezoelectric actuator by acting external force on an ink jet head. SOLUTION: In the ink jet head 1, a flow channel unit 2, the piezoelectric actuator 3 and a flexible cable 4 are laminated and joined, a pressure chamber 10 is formed in a position opposite to a first surface electrode 20 connected to an individual electrode 22 of the flow channel unit 2, and a recessed part 12 is formed in a position opposite to a second surface electrode 21 connected to a common electrode 23.
