PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deburring tool and method for removing a burr, which can remove, more precisely, a burr formed at a ridge of a first hole of a crossing hole and a second hole. SOLUTION: By reciprocating a deburring tool 4 in an axial direction, the deburring tool 4 is able to chip off and remove a burr formed at a ridge 3 of a first hole 1 of a crossing hole and a second hole 2 by using a ring-shaped cutting blade 13 of a cutting blade forming part 9 of a deburring part 6 inserted into the second hole 2. When using a conventional deburring tool to remove a burr by chamfering, it used to be difficult to remove, completely, a burr formed at the ridge 3 of the crossing hole. The deburring tool 4 is able to remove, precisely, the burr, particularly that which is formed at the ridge 3 of the crossing hole having a relatively small crossing hole ratio d1/d2 of an inner diameter d of the first hole 1 to an inner diameter d2 of the second hole.
