The pump has a housing part (3) and a pump assembly (5), where the assembly is provided with a drivable pump piston (7) and a guiding hole (8) that is formed in the housing part. The pump piston is guided into the guiding hole. A pump work space (9) is connected with a squeezing area (19) by a guiding gap (20) between the pump piston and the guiding hole of the housing part, where volume of the area varies when driving the pump piston. A volume-balancing device (35) is provided for the area of the pump assembly and partially balances the variation of the volume of the area.
