<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which a user can correct by preference washing time corresponding to the determining result of the amount of washing. <P>SOLUTION: When the user effectively operates the key 50 of an often washing switch 44, the value of a counter is established according to the operation content of the key 50 of the often washing switch 44. The washing time is established as a value, which differs to a standard value by a part corresponding to the value of the counter, in a setting state of the value of the counter and washing treatment is carried out by the setting result of the washing time.
