<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cut a workpiece and easily cooperate with the following downstream processing in a simple configuration, in a workpiece cutting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The workpiece picking apparatus 1 separates and cuts a leading workpiece on a conveyor 2 for sequentially feeding workpieces W one by one to the following processing from a plurality of workpieces W1-W7 (workpieces W, collectively) in line on the conveyor 2. This apparatus includes: the conveyor 2 arranged with a plurality of drivers on which the workpieces W are placed and which move the workpieces W with a driving force; a gate 4 disposed in the middle of the conveyor 2, and opened/closed to switch between passing and stopping of the workpieces W on the conveyor 2; and a controller 5 controlling the driving action of the drivers and the opening/closing action of the gate 4. The controller 5 opens the gate 4 and drives the driver under the leading workpiece W to move forward only the leading workpiece W, and closes the gate 4 after the workpiece W passes through the gate 4, so as to cut the workpiece W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
