<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content use charging method, program and system, for increasing the degree of freedom on a content provider side. <P>SOLUTION: The content use charging system includes a portable information terminal, a carrier server managed by a communication common carrier, a content server managed by a content provider, and a gateway server connecting the carrier server and the content server, and the gateway server holds information relating to the propriety of content provision to the portable information terminal. The content use charging method includes: a step of having the content server receive a content provision request from the portable information terminal; a step of inquiring of the gateway server about content provision propriety; a step of having the gateway server determine the content provision propriety and notify the content server of determined results; a step of having the content server provide contents corresponding to the request to the portable information terminal; and a step of having the gateway server provide information relating to the propriety of the contents to the carrier server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
