METHOD FOR PROVIDING 3D IMAGE, METHOD FOR CONVERTING 3D IMAGE, GUI PROVIDING METHOD, 3D DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME, AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING 3D IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to more easily view 3D images through a display apparatus without the need for recognizing whether an input image is a 2D image or the 3D image since it is not easy for a user to distinguish the 2D image and the 3D image.

SOLUTION: When particular operation is input from a user in a 2D mode, whether an input image is a 2D image or a 3D image is detected. When the input image is the 3D image, a display mode is switched to a 3D mode and the 3D image is displayed. When the input image is the 2D image, the input 2D image is converted to the 3D image and then the converted 3D image is displayed by changing the display mode to the 3D mode. Thus, regardless of whether the input image is the 2D image or the 3D image, the 3D mode is executed by single operation.
