<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content processing apparatus capable of improving operability for external transfer of contents stored in an extension device. <P>SOLUTION: An extension device has a transfer function and a storage function. The camera CPU 26 of a digital camera 10 designates any one of one or two or more images stored in the extension device and requests internal transfer of the designated image to the extension device. When the requested image is transferred from the extension device, the camera CPU 26 reproduces the transferred image on an LCD monitor 26. Furthermore, the camera CPU 26 changes the designated image in response to a feed operation and requests the external transfer of a designated image to the extension device in response to a selection operation.
