PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking mechanism superior in maintainability, even if a wire saw is enlarged while reducing cost. SOLUTION: This wire saw is constituted of first and second circular arc-shaped rails 14 and 26 respectively arranged on the outer periphery of opening parts 12 and 13 of a body frame 2, a rocking frame 8 for journaling a plurality of groove rollers 10 between front-rear rocking walls 18 and 19 and rotatably fitted in the opening parts 12 and 13, first and second slide guides 17 and 29 slidably fitted to the first and second circular arc-shaped rails 14 and 26, a gear 30 arranged in part of its outer periphery along the outer periphery of the rocking frame 8, and a driving motor 32 for rotatingly driving the gear 30, and the rocking frame 8 is made to perform rocking circular arc motion along the first and second circular arc-shaped rails 14 and 26 by driving the driving motor 32.
