PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron shielding device including a light shield having high shielding performance. SOLUTION: This device includes a first beam line 21 for introducing a charged particle beam into a vacuum container 2, a second beam line 22 for guiding the charged particle beam introduced through the first beam line 21 to the outside of the vacuum container 2, the shield 1 installed in the vacuum container 2, and a driving device 11 for opening and closing a passing route of the charged particle beam in the vacuum container 2 by driving the shield 1. A first beam line 21 side of the shield 1 is formed of an iron shield 6, and a second beam line 22 side of the shield 1 is formed of a concrete shield 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
