PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for a speaker which is superior in moldability, is light in weight, is highly rigid and has superior frequency characteristics regarding acoustic characteristics. SOLUTION: The diaphragm for the speaker is configured by including a foam layer and a pair of glass cloths integrated with the foam layer so as to expose the intersections of warp and weft on the surface at surface layer parts on both main surfaces of the foam layer.
