PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting apparatus which can directly or indirectly cool a coarse material in the circumferential direction thereof. SOLUTION: The continuous casting apparatus includes: a rotary body 31 rotating the circumferential of at least either a mold 2 or a coarse material Ma sent out from the mold 2; and a cooling water injection nozzle 32 injecting cooling water W from the rotary body 31 toward the center of the rotation of the rotary body 31, and sprays the cooling water W while performing rotation to at least either the mold or the coarse material sent out from the mold. In this way, the injection quantity and injection pressure of the cooling water W to the mold 2 and the coarse material Ma are uniformized in the circumferential direction, and variation in the internal structure of the coarse material Ma is eliminated.
