PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoanalyzer avoiding the carry-over caused by accumulated dirt at every washing target, and also to provide a washing method. SOLUTION: Disclosed are the washing method, and the autoanalyzer constituted so as to react a specimen and a reagent to analyze the component of the specimen, and equipped with a plurality of washing mechanisms for respectively washing a plurality of different washing targets by washing water at the time of analysis of the specimen. The autoanalyzer 1 is equipped with: a memory part 17b for storing use data containing the number of times of use or use time from the standard times of the respective washing targets 3c, 5, 6c, 8c, 13c and 14b and necessary washing water flow rate data containing an operational formula for calculating the necessary washing water flow rates of the respective washing targets on the basis of the use data; an operation part 17c for operating the necessary washing water flow rates of the respective washing targets on the basis of the use data and necessary washing water flow rate data stored in the memory part; and a washing control part 17d for controlling the respective washing mechanisms so as to wash the respective washing targets by the washing water of the necessary washing water flow rate operated in the operation part.
