<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of accurately and efficiently obtaining a capture frequency. <P>SOLUTION: First-kind correlation computation processing which is a rough frequency search processing is executed for a received signal of a GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite signal. Frequencies between a main lobe and a side lobe are calculated based on a first-kind correlation integration time which is a correlation integration time used in the first-kind correlation computation processing. The relevant frequencies and a frequency at which a correlative value is maximized in a first-kind correlation integration processing are used to set a frequency for side lobe checking. A plurality of search frequencies are selected with the frequency at which the correlative value is maximized in the first-kind correlation integration processing and the frequency for side lobe checking included, to perform a second-kind correlation computation processing at the respective selected frequencies. A search frequency at which a correlative value is maximized in the second-kind correlation computation processing is determined and fixed as the capture frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
