PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary tool capable of further efficiently preventing cogging, by realizing smoother work by the feedback function. SOLUTION: This rotary tool includes an operation switch 9, a motor 3, a power transmission block 4, a load detecting part 13 for detecting a load of the motor 3, and a control part 6 for controlling driving of the motor 3. The control part 6 executes operation control for controlling the motor so as to increase a rotation quantity as an operation quantity to the operation switch 9 increases and feedback control for further adjusting a rotating speed of the motor 3 in response to a detecting result in the load detecting part 13. When the operation quantity of the operation switch 9 falls within a predetermined initial range, the feedback control is prohibited, and only when the operation quantity of the operation switch 9 exceeds the initial range, the feedback control is executed.
