PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for sealers, which has excellent freeze damage resistance, water permeation resistance of coating film and coating film strength and is useful for example for a sealer used for exterior of building, a fine elastic filler, etc. SOLUTION: The resin composition for sealer includes a plurality of resin layers obtained by multi-stage emulsion polymerization of monomer component, comprises a resin emulsion containing emulsion particles having a glass transition temperature of -70 to 10°C and pigment in which the amount of the pigment is 185-900 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the non-volatile content of the resin emulsion.
