PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light emitting display device capable of improving light efficiency. SOLUTION: The organic light emitting display device 101 includes a substrate body 111, an organic light emitting element 70 formed on the substrate body, and a capping layer 500 formed on the organic light emitting element. The capping layer contains a multilayer film with each layer having different refraction indices. One or more of high-refraction films 510 and one or more of low-refraction films 520 having a refractive index lower than that of the high-refraction film are alternately laminated as the capping layer.
