PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object identification apparatus that improves accuracy in identification. SOLUTION: The object identification apparatus 1 is used for identifying objects to be identified form determined images. The object identification apparatus includes a partial feature evaluation value calculation unit 32, that evaluates feature amount of the decision images based on the partial features, calculates an evaluation value for each partial feature, and acquires weight of reliability associated with the partial features based on the evaluation value; a partial feature weight calculating unit 33 that calculates the total weight that is the total weight of acquired reliability; a unit 34 for calculating a combination pattern matching that calculates a combination matching degree that is the matching degree in the partial features whose evaluation value is determined as being a predetermined one or higher, and in the partial features related to the objects preliminarily learned to be identified; and an identified result decision unit 35 that determines the objects to be identified from the determined images, when the total weight is the predetermined value or larger, and the combined matching degree is the predetermined value or larger.
