PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical reagent which is appropriate for an analyzing device to improve the reaction time for measuring blood cholesterol concentration and to transport a sample liquid to a measuring chamber by a centrifugal force. SOLUTION: There is provided an analytical reagent which comprises cholesterol esterase, cholesterol dehydrogenase, diaphorase, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a tetrazolium compound, or the like, and which is characterized by adding a cyclic sugar compound to the reagent.
