<p>Fire-rpoof building panels of porous chipboard with good bending strength and good stability suitable for heat and noise insulating wall or ceiling panels obtd by coating the wet chipboard panels on 1 or both sides with a 1-15mm thick gypsum or similar material layer, the gypsum layer being reinforced with 0.5-7 wt.% pref. 1-3 wt.% of glass or rock wool with a fibre length of 3-10mm, pref. 3-6 mm, and also contg. 0.5-7 wt.% pref. 1-4 wt.% of a polymer to improved the bonding between the gypsum and the fibres. Curing agents for the polymer and wetting agents can be added. The coated panel is dried and cured in 1 step. Urea, epoxy or acrylic resin or PVC may be used.</p> |
