The transmission has an eccentric component (2) connected with a drive shaft (1), and transmission elements (3) operatively connected with the eccentric component. The transmission elements are formed as cam followers (7) that are held in attachment with the eccentric component by compressive force of a spring (8). The cam followers have length adjusting units (9) for adjusting effective length (x) of the cam followers to cause increase or decrease of pivot angle range of the cam followers for variable speed control with constant eccentricity of the component.
