The household appliance device comprises a plastic component, which is formed in an injection molding process and in which a metallic retaining element is introduced by overmolding with the plastic material in the plastic component, and a mounting component, which is connected with the plastic component. The connection is formed as pressure joining connection between a metallic region of the mounting component and the retaining element of the plastic component. The plastic component is a frame or a decorative frame (3) for a hob (1). A cover upper part is formed from a metallic material. The household appliance device comprises a plastic component, which is formed in an injection molding process and in which a metallic retaining element is introduced by overmolding with the plastic material in the plastic component, and a mounting component, which is connected with the plastic component. The connection is formed as pressure joining connection between a metallic region of the mounting component and the retaining element of the plastic component.
