PURPOSE: A heating method and apparatus for a fan heater are provided to reduce energy consumption by increasing torque using various sizes of gears. CONSTITUTION: A heating method for a fan heater is as follows. An inner motor(6) of a fan heater is operated with power supply so that a motor gear(7) is rotated. A plurality of small rotary gears(10) are rotated by interlocking with the driving gear. Rotating rods(9,9') coupled to the respective rotary gears are rotated with the operation of the rotary gears. Frictional rods(11) coupled to the rotating rods are heated by frictional heat. Heating plates(8,8') on which the frictional rods are installed are heated with the heating of the frictional rods, and the surrounding air is heated with the heat form the heating plates. |
