<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas concentration detection sensor capable of suppressing crack generation in a sensor element. <P>SOLUTION: Since a route from an outside gas introduction hole 144a to an inside gas introduction hole 134a has a narrowed width in the middle owing to existence of an inner wall member 150, liquid such as water entering from the outside gas introduction hole 144a hardly reaches the sensor element 110 through a gas inflow chamber 122 in comparison with the case missing the inner wall member 150. Further, since the inner wall member 150 has a solid shape and stores surrounding heat, even if a temperature of the sensor element 110 may be lowered by a sudden change of flow velocity of measuring object gas or the like, temperature lowering of the sensor element 110 is suppressed by the heat stored in the inner wall member 150. Consequently, crack generation in the sensor element 110 can be suppressed in comparison with a conventional sensor adopting a protection cover having a double structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
