PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweep oscillation circuit capable of shortening an inspection time of operation and a powder sensor equipped with the sweep oscillation circuit. SOLUTION: The sweep oscillation circuit 7 provides a powder sensor element 3 with a drive signal, of which frequency is swept within a range containing a resonance frequency of the powder sensor element 3, and includes a source oscillation circuit 23 outputting a source drive signal, a frequency conversion circuit 25 having two or more frequency dividing circuits 29 connected in series, and a switch 27 reversibly switching a connection state between the source oscillation circuit 23 and the frequency conversion circuit 25 from a first state to a second state. In the first state, the source drive signal is frequency-frequency-divided by all of the two or more frequency dividing circuits 29 and then output from the frequency conversion circuit 25 as a drive signal. In the second state, the source drive signal is frequency-divided by a part of the two or more frequency dividing circuits 29 and then output from the frequency conversion circuit 25.
