PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil feeding apparatus for solving such problems that when feeding soil to the feed hopper of a soil sending-out device, soil is not equally fed to the feed hopper, and the particle diameter of soil on one side of the feed hopper is large and the particle diameter of soil on the other side is small, thus they are uneven. SOLUTION: The soil feeding apparatus is so formed that a soil sending-out device 10 which feeds bed soil or cover soil from the upper side to a raising seedling container 2 in transfer with a transfer stand 1 is installed on the upper place of the transfer stand 1, a bucket conveyor 20 which has a bucket 28 for replenishing soil to the feed hopper 11 of the soil sending-out device 10 is installed on the either right or left side of the transfer direction of the raising seedling container 2 of the feed hopper 11 of the soil sending-out device 10, an induction device 40 which induces soil abandoned through the reverse of the bucket 28 is installed on the upper part of the bucket conveyor 20, and the induction device 40 is provided with a movable induction plate 42 which reciprocatingly turns in a direction intersecting the transfer direction of the raising seedling container 2.
