PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus can continuing recording without being limited by a performance of the recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 1 has: an obtaining part 14 for detecting an external voice and obtaining the voice as recording data 33; a storage part 18 for storing the obtained recording data 33; a control part 32 for controlling recording of the recording data 33 due to the obtaining part 14 and the storage part 18; a notification part 15 which can notify another recording apparatus of information; and a detection part 15 which can detect information from the other recording apparatus. If recording of recording data 33 can not be continued, the control part 32 requests, from the notification part 15, the other recording apparatus to start recording and when a response of recording start from the other recording apparatus is detected in response to the request of recording start by the detection part 15, recording of the recording data 33 is finished.
