PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining clip for a pipe cover, allowing a pipe connecting cover to be externally-fitted and connected to the end of a cylindrical cover reliably without requiring the intricately-shaped pipe cylindrical cover, and allowing the cylindrical cover to hardly come off the connecting cover even if strong external force is applied to a coming-off side. SOLUTION: This retaining clip 7 preventing the pipe cylindrical cover 1 from relatively coming off the pipe connecting cover 2 includes: an outer tongue piece 8 and an inner tongue piece 9 which sandwich the end of the cylindrical cover 1; and a connecting portion 10 for connecting both the tongue pieces. The outer tongue piece 8 is provided with a retaining portion 8b abutting on a stopper 14 protruded from the inner peripheral surface of the connecting cover 2 and projecting outward in order to prevent the cylindrical cover 1 from relatively coming off the connecting cover 2. At least one of the outer tongue piece 8 and inner tongue piece 9 is provided with claws 8a, 9a bitten into the cylindrical cover 1 by pressing force applied from the stopper 14 to the retaining portion 8b in association with the relative movement of the cylindrical cover 1 and connecting cover 2 to the falling-out side.
