The device has a chain (4) with a set of spacing sections and two connecting straps. The straps run in a longitudinal direction and are arranged on both sides of the spacing sections to connect the spacing sections. The spacing sections exhibit a U-shaped structure. Each spacing section is provided with a concave portion at a side turned toward the direction and with a convex portion at another side. The convex portion comprises a holding surface, and the concave portion comprises a pair of holding surfaces, where rolling elements (5) are freely rollable in receiving areas using the surfaces.
