The strip set has four strips (13-16) of different thicknesses (d0, d1, d2, d3) filled in a gap (8) between a control panel (1) and a furniture sheet (6) that is vertically interspaced from the control panel. The furniture sheet is arranged on a door (2) of a household appliance i.e. water-bearing household appliance. The strips cooperate with a receiver of the control panel and with a spring element of the control panel for forming the receiver, where the strips have a square or rectangular profile.
