PURPOSE: A coating composition for a transfer paper is provided to enable general use for all pulp papers used in transfer papers and to enable compatibility with all transfer inks. CONSTITUTION: A coating composition for a transfer paper includes 50~70 weight% of CMC, 20~30 weight% of cationic amide resin, 1~4 weight% of cationic dispersing agent, 1~3 weight% of leveling agent and 0.5~1.5 weight% of antifoaming agent. A method for preparing the transfer paper comprises the steps of: (S30) diluting a transfer coating composition in a solvent in a ratio of 20~40 weight% : 60~80 weight% and applying the transfer coating composition to pulp papers; and (S40) drying the pulp papers to which the transfer coating composition is applied. |
