PURPOSE: An air compressor is provided to improve an air filtering function and to reduce the consumption of oil by adapting a separator tank which performs an air/oil separating function. CONSTITUTION: An air compressor comprises compressor a compressor body(115), a main body motor(120), a screw device(110), an oil tank(140), and an air/oil separating tank(150). The compressor body supplies power to the main body motor. The screw mixes and compresses the air, passing through an air cleaner, and the oil, provided from the oil tank. The oil tank supplies the oil to the screw device. The air/oil separating tank separates from the oil tank to be installed on the top of the oil tank. The air/oil compression gas, compacted in the screw device, separated into air and oil. The air/oil compression gas, flowed in the air/oil separating tank, is filtered twice. |
