PURPOSE: A master cylinder is provided to reduce impulsive sound generation and to improve petal stick feeling by improving the oil recovery property in the releasing of a brake. CONSTITUTION: A master cylinder comprises a cylinder main body(20), pistons(30,40), and sealing members(51,52,53,54). The cylinder main body comprises oil inlets(27,28) and liquid pressure chambers(23,24). The piston comprises a plurality of through holes which connects the oil inlet and liquid pressure chamber. The piston increases the pressure of the liquid pressure chamber by vertically moving within the bore inside of the cylinder main body. The sealing member prepares between the cylinder main body and piston. The sealing member selectively blocks the circulation of the oil through a through hole of the piston.
