PURPOSE: A composition containing medicinal herb fermentation extract for oral cavity is provided to relieve gingival inflammation and to prevent gingival diseases. CONSTITUTION: A composition for oral cavity contains Swertia pseudo-chinensis extract. The Swertia pseudo-chinensis extract is obtained by cutting leaves, roots, and stems of Swertia pseudo-chinensis, dipping in water, polar organic solvent, or mixture thereof, filtering, and decompression-concentrating.
