TURNING EQUIPMENT FOR TOOL TURRET

PURPOSE: A rotating device for a turret-tool rest is provided to perform tilt hole, tapered surface, arc or complex slot processing on the central shaft of a workpiece. CONSTITUTION: A rotating device for a turret-tool rest comprises a motor pulley, a globoidal cam(16), a cam follower shaft(17), a table pulley(21) and a rotating table. The driving force of a motor(10) is delivered to the motor pulley. The globoidal cam receives the driving force of the motor pulley using a timing belt. The cam follower shaft is rotated by the globoidal cam. The table pulley receives the driving force of the cam follower shaft using another timing belt(20). The rotating table is coupled to the table pulley and rotates. The turret-tool rest is placed on the rotating table.
