PURPOSE: A billing system and a billing method of an electric car are provided to purchase electric energy by integrating information on cars, billing and a user and guiding the purchase of the electricity. CONSTITUTION: A billing data center(250) integrates and manages information on cars, billing and a user. A car information managing part manages a car identification number and a current collect identifying number within the car. An energy managing part monitors an energy state of the car and displays the energy state to the user. A payment processing part(230) communicates with the billing data center and processes an energy purchase procedure. A car control part(240) controls a driving state of the current collector according to a control signal of the billing data center.
