PURPOSE: A vortex scrubbing dust collector is provided to remove contaminants from gas by mixing the gas with a cleaning solution in a droplet form by generating a vortex in the cleaning solution. CONSTITUTION: A vortex scrubbing dust collector comprises the following: a main body(100) for storing a cleaning solution, including a gas inlet(110) and a gas outlet(120); a first gas spraying path(200) including a first orifice hole(210), for injecting gas flowing through the gas inlet into the cleaning solution; a scattering-collision plate(300) for scattering the mixture of the cleaning solution and the gas into a droplet state; a second gas spraying path(400) including a second orifice hole(410) for spraying scattered gas to the cleaning solution; a gas-liquid separation plate(500) removing contaminants from the gas by colliding the droplets of the cleaning solution to the inner wall of the second gas spraying path; a demister(600) removing the droplets; and a water level controller(700) controlling the level of the cleaning solution.
