PURPOSE: A plasma processing apparatus for air cleaning and sterilization is provided to ionize oxygen in the air into plasma, thereby purifying the air without generating harmful secondary products. CONSTITUTION: A plasma processing apparatus for air cleaning and sterilization comprises a case(10) in which a cover(30) is installed and a slit-type gap(32) is formed in a part of the cover to restrict the generation of static pressure, a plasma generator(20) comprising a first electrode and a second electrode which is formed in a cylindrical net type and applied with power through a power supply bar fixed to the case, an inclined guide, and a catalyst.
