<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a thin film which prevents a lens from being colored and has adequate antistatic properties and water repellency, and to provide an optical member having the film thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the thin film comprises the steps of: preparing a water-repellent solution by mixing (a) a compound having a perfluoroalkyl group, (b) a surface active agent, and (c) at least one electroconductive material selected from a fullerene, a carbon nanotube and a graphite compound; and forming the thin film from a vapor deposition material in the water-repellent solution, by using a vacuum vapor deposition technique. In a process for producing the optical member comprising an optical substrate and a multilayered antireflection layer formed on the optical substrate, the production method includes forming the thin film according to the above method, on the multilayered antireflection layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
