The present invention relates to fibre-reinforced plastic material comprising matrix material (3) and fibres (1) which are embedded in the matrix material (3). According to the invention, fibre spacers (4,7) are embedded between the fibres (1) to avoid direct fibre-to-fibre contacts.
The spacers can comprise a protective jacket (4) made of porous material applied on the fibers as a solution or a dispersion.
The spacers could also be particle (7) as nano-particles applied in the form of an aerosol.
