PURPOSE: A car mirror system for displaying driving information of surrounding cars and a driving information display method are provided to enable quick change of driving direction by minimizing the time taken for a driver to turn eyes to the left/right or back. CONSTITUTION: A car mirror system for displaying driving information of surrounding cars, which is operated in linkage with left and right mirrors(100,200) of a car(10), comprises a driving information collecting unit and a display unit. The driving information collecting unit detects surrounding cars existing on the sides of and behind the car and collects driving information from the detected cars. The display unit displays driving information using a plurality of LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes) arranged in a matrix form.
