A fuel stream is fed to a gas turbine. An oxygen-containing stream is chilled to provide a chilled oxydizing stream, which is also fed to the gas turbine. The fuel stream is combusted in the gas turbine with the chilled oxydizing stream. Chilling duty is provided by converting solar power into chilling duty. At least part of the chilling duty is applied for the chilling of the oxygen-containing stream. The gas turbine may be comprised in a gas turbine system. The gas turbine system may form part of a system for cooling a gaseous hydrocarbon stream. The gas turbine may be operated as part of a method of cooling a hydrocarbon stream.
