PURPOSE: A portable reading device for sensing forging with an electromagnetic array sensor and a sample measuring method using the same is provided to enable accurate measuring since an electromagnetic sensor separates a hard magnetic member from a soft magnetic member. CONSTITUTION: A portable reading device for sensing forging with an electromagnetic array sensor comprises a light sensor unit(20), a second A/D converter(14), a magnetic sensor unit(30), a first A/D converter(13), a control unit(10), and an operating unit(40). The light sensor unit senses and transfers the presence/absence of a sample(50). The second A/D converter is connected to the light sensor unit to convert the signals of the light sensor unit. The magnetic sensor unit consists of an electromagnetic sensor(31), which senses the magnetism of a sample sensed by the light sensor unit. The first A/D converter is connected to the magnetic sensor unit and converts the transferred signals to digital signals.
