METHOD FOR QOS INTERCONNECTING BETEWEEN WLAN AND WIMAX

PURPOSE: A QoS interlocking method between WLAN and WIMAX is provided to efficiently transmit data between the both networks in case traffic transmission occurs between the both networks. CONSTITUTION: In a first network, one of WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) and WiMAX(Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), a previously set QoS(Quality of Service) mapping value is marked in the IP header of a data packet(S100). The data packet is transmitted to queue for scheduling(S110). According to the scheduling, the data packet is transmitted to a second network(S120). In the secondary network, the QoS mapping value within the data packet is interpreted(S130). In the second network, the data packet is processed(S140).
