<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc wherein a deteriorated change of a color tone on appearance is not felt due to less increase in a degree of turning yellow on a protective layer of the optical disc even after loading with a prescribed light exposure, for the optical disc having an organic pigment-recording layer, a light-reflecting layer, and a protecting layer consisting of an ultraviolet curing type resin composition on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet curing type resin composition which is a material for formation of a cured film as the protecting layer comprises a composition containing a specific phenolic compound having a phenyl group of a structure substituted with a hydroxyl group and a lower alkyl group and a specific photopolymerization initiator, and the optical disc is obtained by forming the protecting layer using the composition, and a degree of turning yellow of the protecting layer in terms of a colorimetry value of the protecting layer side before and after loading with the prescribed light exposure is less than 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
