<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unevenness in an image due to a time lag from when an ink is deposited on a recording medium until the ink is irradiated with a light. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet printer 1 comprises recording heads 11-14 for ejecting the light-curable type ink on a recording medium 3, light sources 15, 16 for radiating the light to the ink deposited on the recording medium 3, a carriage 10 for moving the recording heads 11-14 and the light sources 15, 16 on the recording medium 3, and a control device (not shown in the figure) that predicts and calculates a glossiness and a difference in glossiness of an image at a time after recording before the carriage 10 moves the recording heads 11-14 and the light sources 15, 16 to perform the recording of the image, and selects to determine a recording condition in the recording of the image according to the result of the prediction and the calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
