<p>The burner has a channel (1) with a mixing zone (2) and an oxidant supply unit i.e. air supply unit (16), and a fuel supply unit for injecting fuel. A separating unit (15) is provided in the channel and divides the channel over a wide region of the channel into two separated channels (3a, 3b). The separating unit is arranged on flow lines, and is made of metal or metal alloy i.e. metal sheet. The separating unit is arranged concentric to a middle axis (12), and fuel injectors (11) are provided in a spin generator i.e. air spin generator (10). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a burner.</p> |
