1336154 Pressurized dispensing containers E H GREEN 4 Nov 1970 [14 Nov 1969] 52428/70 Heading F1R A valve arrangement for a pressurized dispensing container 10 has a diaphragm 40 displaceable from a position where it seats against a fixed valve head 24 by a portion 58 of an actuator and spray head 46 slidable on the pedestal 20. The valve stem 24 incorporates a filter and flow restricter 26. The actuator 46 may be provided with legs 74 by which it is slidably secured to the pedestal 20 and which permit the passage of pressurized fluid into the interior of the actuator and thence past the diaphragm 40 when filling the container. The dimensions of diaphragm 40 are selected so that it can act as a safety valve. |
