ENCLOSURE FOR FUEL CELL STACK

PURPOSE: An enclosure for a fuel cell stack is provided to realize light weight and to ensure the enhancement of fuel efficiency, the enhancement of thermal insulation, the removal of a chemical resistant coating process and the expression of fire retardant characteristics. CONSTITUTION: An enclosure for a fuel cell stack comprises an upper support(12) and a lower support(14). The lower support in which the fuel cell stack(10) is mounted is made of metal materials. The upper support surrounding the upper part of the fuel cell stack is composed of the polymer-glass fiber composites. The upper support is a flat cross section structure or a stricter where a rib for reinforcing stress(16) is formed at the inner surface thereof.
